Symptom

Short dump ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY during collection-job
SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR.

Reason and Prerequisites

The collector job terminates in short dump ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY. The error occurs in program SAPLSDBORA3 when attempting to import dataset created by SMON_ID=600 into a sorted-type internal table. The error occurs during collection for SMON_IDs: 601, 602, 603, 651, 652 and 653.

Solution

Delete monikeys 600, 601, 602, 603, 651, 652 and 653 as described below:

1. Go to transaction ST03 (expert mode)
2. Collector and performance DB-> Performance database -> Monitoring
database -> Contents
3. In information column, double-click on entry <SID>600
The entry gets red showing text "delete"
Repeat this for all other SMON_IDs.
4. Save

Finally implement the attached correction.
